Leagues & Teams
Creating a league, presets, invite codes, commissioners and co-managers.
Start a league
A fantasy league is your own personal competition. You and your friends, rivals, or workmates each run a team, and everyone chases the league title. One person sets it all up and keeps it running. That person is the commissioner, and if you're reading this, it's probably you.
Don't worry, you don't need to know what every setting does. We've crafted ready-made presets for you to choose from so you can jump right in, and everything remains editable in case you change your mind down the road. The moment you're done choosing your settings, the league is created and enters preseason, which simply means that nobody has drafted any players yet. Start a league.
1. Create it
Name your league, pick a preset and create it.
2. Invite your friends
Share your league's invite code so everyone can join.
3. Draft
Once every spot is filled, the commissioner starts the draft.
Running the league? Our Commissioner Tools guide covers everything you can do as the host.
Choose a preset
The fastest way to get going is to let us do the heavy lifting for you. Presets are ready-made bundles of settings curated for different styles of play. You only have to pick two: one for how the league is run, and one for how points are scored. You can change anything you want at any time, right up until the draft begins. If you're not sure where to start, here's a quick guide:
- Casual if you want something fun and low-commitment. It's the easiest to run, and everyone just chases the most points.
- Classic if you know fantasy football and want the familiar weekly head-to-head game.
- Immersive if you want to build a squad that lasts for years, with keepers and a bigger roster.
- Custom if you'd like to choose every setting yourself.

Join a league
Got an invite? Great, you're nearly in! Ask your commissioner for the league's invite code; it looks something like PREM-1992, typically starting with 4 letters, then 4 other characters. Type it in with your team name and congratulations! You're a manager of your very own fantasy team.
What happens next? Once all teams have joined and the league is full, the commissioner can start the draft and you can start picking your squad!
