Terms of Service

Touchline is operated by Touchline LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. By creating a Touchline account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms also cover your interactions with us through our official social media accounts. If you don't agree, please don't use Touchline. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data — it's incorporated into these terms by reference.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Touchline. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide during registration is accurate.

Touchline is a football app — available on the web and, where offered, as a mobile app — covering live scores and fixtures, league tables, club and national team profiles, statistics, and news, alongside community engagement and fantasy football leagues you can create and join, build and manage a fantasy roster in, and compete with others. Touchline currently does not involve real-money entry fees or payouts. If that changes, we'll update these terms and notify users before it applies to them.

• You must provide accurate information when you create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings, or by contacting us — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.

• Touchline hosts fantasy football leagues that you and other users create and manage. League commissioners set their own rules within the settings Touchline provides (scoring, roster limits, waiver rules, and similar), and Touchline isn't responsible for how a commissioner configures or runs their league.
• Player data, fixtures, and statistics displayed in the app are sourced from third-party providers and offered for informational and entertainment purposes only — we don't guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
• We may remove a team or league, or suspend an account, for cheating, collusion, abuse of other users, or violation of these terms.

You agree not to, while using Touchline:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, including through league names, team names, profile photos, or chat features.
• Upload or share content that's unlawful, infringes someone's rights, or violates others' privacy.
• Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-extract, or systematically retrieve data from Touchline, or attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the service.
• Redistribute, republish, resell, or otherwise make available outside the app any statistics, fixtures, or player data provided through Touchline — our underlying data license doesn't permit redistribution.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Use Touchline for any purpose that violates applicable law or these terms.

You keep ownership of any content you submit to Touchline (team names, league names, profile photos/avatars, and similar). By submitting it, you give Touchline a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content within the app, including to other members of your league(s), for as long as your account or the content remains active.

The Touchline name, logo, and app design are owned by us and may not be used without our permission. Football club names, crests, and competition data displayed in the app belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes.

If you believe content on Touchline infringes your copyright, email admin@touchline-app.com with: a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing material within Touchline, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We'll review valid notices and remove infringing content we control.

Touchline is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we don't warrant the accuracy of any statistics, fixtures, or player data shown in the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Touchline isn't liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Touchline harmless from any claim arising out of your violation of these terms or your misuse of the service.

You can stop using Touchline and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, and we may discontinue or modify the service at our discretion. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) will continue to apply.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at admin@touchline-app.com so we can try to resolve it informally. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise, and any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in state or federal courts located in Virginia.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use Touchline after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Touchline regarding the service. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it.
